I saw many mourning doves in the the mesquite and paloverde trees as well as on top of various cacti such as saguaro and prickly pear.
I also encountered a desert spiny lizard running around in the sand of the wash, but he quickly ran away when he saw me.
I can't wait to go back tomorrow!
